When requesting a locate, the mapping software and basemap data will now determine if the dig site is in a “RURAL” or “URBAN” area rather than the selection in the search field. This update also predetermines dig size limitations for the chosen ticket type. Below is an example of a selected Project Ticket dimensions. When selecting a dig location that is both in and outside of a town, the location will default to “URBAN”.
