Because of the alignment of business rules between all western provinces, some provinces will see new minimum notice periods come into effect on January 31. To make sure you are allowing enough time to receive a response from infrastructure owners prior to your work date, familiarize yourself with the attached illustration of notice.
The date you choose for your locate request should reflect the date you plan to start work, and should be after the minimum notice period. The new software will not allow users to choose a work date before the notice period has passed.
